  1. Take someone with you, stay in different bed and breakfasts. The Irish people are very friendly, helpful and tolerant...it's a lovely country..Bon chance et n'ayez-pas peur.

  2. First thing you do is not to be so open about yourself. Ireland is like any other place so be careful who your trust. There is a huge French community here in Dublin. For some strange reason, many French like Ireland ( Personally, I'd like to live in France and leave Ireland ).

Do a google on Ireland and find the Irish Tourist Board. Contact the French embassy here and ask them to put you in touch with some of their connections. Most Irlsh people can't even speak proper English. That's not an insult to them, as I am sure the same applies in France too at times. We speak really rapidement here.

Just be careful and watch your back. We are in the euro area so you can spend your euro here . Sterling is not accepted, as it is a forreign currency, except in the North of Ireland, which is part of the UK . There, they are very intelligent folk and accept the two currencies.

If you are stuck or in a situation here, I'd help you with advice. My email address is moloneyrichard@msn.com.

The police here are very helpful too, should you ever get into difficulty.

I have an affinity for France and love the place, especially the south.

YOu take care and bon chance with your plans.
