The Decision came back in my favor but the amount i'm not agreeing to. My ex employer had a no check acceptations at the cart but it was not posted anywhere. I had a customer that wanted to pay with a check and i had dealt with this customer before at another job. The customer payed with a check then also but it was for a smaller amount. My Ex employer didn't want to take the check, but she said yes when i told her i would take all the info down of the customer she said yes. i never said i would pay for the check if it bounced. Now the full decision was based on this check. the hearing officer would not give me the penalties that where supposed to come to me based on a check that my old boss allowed me to take. Because she wants me to pay for it. I never signed or stated anything about doing so. The Decision Was My Ex Employers Ultimately.

  1. The clerk of court should be able to advise you on this.  BUT... is it REALLY worth it?  I think you have to pick your battles.
