I am part Italian. My mother was full Italian and both my grandparents were born in Italy. I love my Italian side but am very interested in trying to find family over there. I want to take a trip there very soon but I want to know how to get in touch with relatives. Does any one know how I can do that? and of a good way to learn Italian quickly. I have a hard time trying to teach myself out of a Quick Italian Learning......how can I learn my language quickly so i can start to speak it?

  1. If both your mother and grandparents were born in Italy, you alread have some important points to start from. Which places were they born in? Which surnames did they have? If they are born in small villages, to find your relatives will be easier than you can imagine.

The best way to learn Italian is to live in Italy, of course.

    Hope this can help!

    Bye bye!

  2. did you ask any of your relatives i think that would be the place to start.
