He is not entitled to British Book, as his dad is not exactly a citizen... he can just stay there for as long as he wants. This is how british citizenship is granted:-

If your man has been there for 5 years or more ILR he can apply to become a citizen, so the baby could, thereafter, be entitled to citizenship.
