I am Latino...so what race am I?

I am Latino, and I am Mestizo (Spanish and Amerindian). Someone told me that technically Mestizos are Caucasioid and Mongoloid. What does that mean??? I just thought Mestizos in Latin America are Amerindian and European; that they are mixed race.

I have noticed that Anglos are very lenient when it comes to ancestry when applying it to their own group but very stringent when it comes to others.
A very convenient double standard.
