I am Looking for a vet book on Equines.....?

Question

I would really like a book on Equines that has different illnesses, diseases and common sicknesses and how to treat all of it. I guess it would be like a vet reference book IDK but if anyone knows wat i'm talking about could you please throw me some suggestions.....THANKS

the horse doctor is in, by brent kelley is a great book. it talks about the guy's exprience with the different diseases. it covers like everything, even barn cats!!

Don't mean to put it this way, but if you go to my shop at www.allthingshorsey.com.  I have a section on books and two of the merchants have books on equine veterinary.  I'm not trying to plug anything.  I just know that they are there.

Look up Elsevier - they carry veterinary books on just about every species.

Horse Owner's Veterinary Handbook.  I think I have a link to it (and a bunch of other books) on my YA profile.  Vet reference books are good - as in, the Merck Manual - but are rather technical with teeny print and no photos.
