  1. Please dont ask this serious question in YA, you need to contact the Brazilian consulate in Senegal, otherwise people might tell you one thing and then it's the other!

On the other hand, Brazil is a mixture of many races, predominantly black and I've never seen any racism there, in fact it's the place where I've seen more mixed marriages in my life.

  2. Yes, you do need a visa to enter Brazil.

We do not have racism in Brazil, don't worry about that, you will be treated just like any other citizen.

  3. You need to contact the nearest  Brazilian consulate or embassy in Senegal to determine whether or not you need a visa and the requirements necessary to obtain it.

I doubt you will encounter any racism among Black Brazilians.

  4. Salaam maleko!

Its good to know that somebody from Africa wants to travel to South America. Welcome to the new land of Brazil, this is one the great country in the world; you'll find good friends in the city of Sao Pablo- fear not -you will experience a good nation, very kind people, lovely .. and remember all black people comes from Africa , understand right, good. Make sure to bring a Yimbee with you- when you travel , you know how to play the yimbee right, ok, this way you'll teach them (as an african ) the african music , they love it as much as they love to hear it from a real african musician and begin to open new opportunity in Brazil. Also. you must obtain visa anywhere to travel...

    God Bless You..

    Your friend......

  5. Racism is a crime in Brazil. If somebody do it for you, you can call the police (the crime is punished with 4 years in jail). Besides, Africans, like any other foreigner, are very well treated here, because Brazilians love diversity.

  6. No way, I am Brazilian and I live in Salvador where is the second city more Afro people of the world and our culture and religion is based on Africans custumes.

    2) I am Brazilian and I can assure you Brasil is not a racist country at all!  We have many African-Brazilians in Brazil and we all live peacefully together (well Brazil got other problems which make Brazil a not very safe place). We are also very friendly towards foreigners no matter where they come from. So go to Brazil because you will have a wonderful time.

Our traditional food and music have a lot of influence from Africa so you will be nice to you to see all these things.

    Good luck,
