I am a US citizen and fathered a child in Mexico. She is one years old. I am back in the states and want her out of Mexico and want to bring her to the US with me. She has no papers and is not a citizen of America. Does anyone know the legal process of bringing her here and what papers need to be filed? My daughter needs to be here with me. She is not safe where she is and her mother is a mess and leaves her unattended by herself with no supervision. Someone please guide me. I made a mistake fathering a child with someone who was not from here but my daughter is a beautiful little girl and should have so much more and so much better.

  1. Contact the American Consulate in Mexico. Explain the situation, ask for help.

Is the mother willing to give you custody (perhaps for a small cash 'gift'?).

  2. She already is a citizen,  you simply have to prove it. First you get the DNA tests, then you hire a lawyer to sue for custody.

Hire a good Spanish-speaking American lawyer with connections in Mexico. And stop making babies with losers.

  3. get yourself a canoe

  4. Marry her

  5. If your from the U.S then your daughter is considered a U.S CITIZEN even though she wasn't born here. Go to the immagration place or on there website and there will be alot of information.
