I am Visiting New Orleans, Which of Emeril's Restaurant has the best Food?

I want to try one of Emeril's Restaurant when I am in New Orleans, which has the best food. I know he has three? choices there. Which would recommend?

Speaking on personal opinion, there are so many good restaurants to choose from in New Orleans that I don't really get into a celebrity chef thing.  I feel that if Wolfgang Puck opened a place here, it would probably struggle a bit to hang with the other guys.

Usually I have to choose which place I want to go to for a po-boy....

NOLA is good, but any of the Emeril's places are WAY overpriced. Ask people in the french quarter good suggestions, you'll find better for half the price.

You should go to some of the lesser know restaurants as well.

If I may be honest, I don't recommend going to any of Emeril's restaurants.  They are more on the touristy side and you will spend quite a bit on an okay meal.  My husband and I LOVE New Orleans and travel there once a year on business.  Our favorite 2 meals in the city are Mr. B's Bistro and K-Pauls.  They are priced about equal to Emeril's, but I think the food is much better.  If you do happen to try Mr. B's please please please get the shrimp and grits!  I'm a southern girl and have had then in every state that serves them and they are the very best here.  At K Pauls get the blackened beef tenders....dear god!!  I am so envious!  Have a great time!

Emeril's. NOLA, and Delmonico are all good.  Basically you go to Emeril's for people watching, NOLA for a funkier crowd, and Delmonico fo elegance.

I would go to Delmonico because of the atmosphere not only inside the restaurant but outside as well. I would also try other lesser known restaurants on Decatur St. in the French Quarter. The lesser known restaurants are often the best.

I've been to all three, and I recommend Emerils Restaurant on Julia street.  NOLA's is a really good, but a less formal.  Just depends on the atmosphere you want.

Emerils Restaurant is the best of Emerils creations, so if you're looking for excellent food by Emeril Lagasse, then that is the way to go. Delmonico existed before Emeril's, he bought it and pretty much kept the food as it was.

You should try some other restaurants not owned by a food network star though. Emeril isn't even from New Orleans. He just got his start here. He got his start at Commander's Palace. That's a really good one! Try Mr. B's Bistro and Alpine in the French Quarter.
