i want to write the sat .. i would like to kno th eexact procedure i need to follow to book a date to write it and how i should get it done ..also i want to kno the universities i can apply to using my sat scores

Hi,

       I would suggest you register online through www.collegeboard.com. You will have to pay using a credit card (Visa,Mastercard,Discover,American Express). I do not remember if they ask for your passport number when you apply. i do remember taking my passport to the exam centre.

To see what scores are most likely to get you into the university of your choice, sign into collegeboard.com. Click the "find a college" tab. On the left side of the page you should see a link named "college search". If you use college search, pick a university. You might get more than one match if the univ. has regional campuses. Pick the main campus. Then you should see a tab saying "SAT,ACT and CLEP". pick that . You should get the avg. score of the middle 50% of admitted students. This will give you a good idea about what score you need to  get.
