I am a 16 year old female in need of a job.?

Question

I have never worked before and i would like to start now.

Do you know any place willing to hire an unexperienced teen.

My zip code is 11433 and Im looking for a place to work that is near me or a little farther. I am a hard worker and love to be on my feet. Im not thinking of voluntary work but a real job that acually pays.

Any place around Jamiaca Avenue would be nice.

I dont know where 11433 zip is, but sure, a 16 yr old can find a summer job.  Fast food, some retail, restaurants, cashiering.   Just get out there and apply.  Most teens have no experience when they look for work. They will train you.  Good luck!!

You can go to your school counselor who can give you information, your friends who are working or try going to stores or fast food restaurants.  Try neighbors who might need a baby sitter or the internet on sites that you can post information about obtaining a job. There is always the newspaper where you can find jobs.
