I am wanting to open up a new skateboard retail shop with my fiancé. We are concerned about if we are making the right move to a healthy & wealthy future. I currently earn $900 a week and my partner earns $700 with our current jobs. Do you think we would make more in a family owned business?

Any advice/tips or ideas would be appreciated

  1. Sit down and think about it,

Create a spreadsheet with a rough estimate of your expenses, daily , weekly, monthy etc.

Create a rough estimate of a income.

Work out some sort of rough estimates of everything.

By doing this, you will give yourself a base idea of if it will work or be worth the trouble

    (just an idea)

Also think about the market, Will there be enough people buying stuff to keep us running

  2. I think that you are in th right move, but you need a little more advices. Actualy  I recomend the "Rich dad, poor dad" book from Robert Koyosaky, it's an amazing book that help you to get out from thet rats race (Being an employee for the rest of your life..) and head to a real entrepreneur person.. and maybe wealthy..who knows..
