I am emotionally drained I cannot think right now. I am so worried for my father because he is alone out there and Mexico is so corrupt. How can I legally bring him into the United States? I have a good citizen record, have accomplished B.A and almost done with my masters and I have a stable and successful employment record. I do not have a lot of money to hire a lawyer...(they riped us off before anyways). Things were much better when my father was here because he worked and supported his 3 younger children, and now, I send him money when once I used that money to stimulate the u.s.a economy. Things just don't make any sense.

PLEASE I WANT ADVICE AND NO DISCRIMATION OR HATE COMMENTS.

Foreigners living among you will be like your own people. Love them as you love yourself, because you were foreigners living in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

  1. Look you are not saying the reason why he was deported. I suggest that you call a good immigration lawyer and see what could be done about yours fathers case. Good luck!!

  2. We are not in Egypt!! There is nothing you can do, he chose to live here illegally, now he has to pay the price, he will be on a 10 year or lifetime ban. As others have said, move with him and help change mexico!!!

    Report and Deport

  3. I would strongly recommend consulting with an immigration attorney.  There are many immigrant and non-immigrant visas available, and an attorney could best advise you on the options based on the specifics of your case.

My wife is stuck in Mexico currently as we wait for news on a visa.

  4. Romans ?  obey the laws of the land.  If he was iillagal then so be it.

  5. Your father violated the laws of this country, and he is barred from re-entry.  He's lucky he was just deported -- he could have spent years in jail instead.  Your father chose to break the law instead of coming here legally, so it is his own fault.  You are not going to get any sympathy, so stop whining.

BTW, since your father was a Mexican citizen at the time of your birth, you & your siblings have a right to Mexican citizenship.  So you can get a Mexican passport and go join him in Mexico if you are concerned that he might be lonely.  You would not have any immigration hassles as a Mexican citizen returning to Mexico.

  6. Well why was he deported....If he is your father how are you a US citizen and he isn't?  Is your mother a U.S. citizen?  Just trying to figure out how you are even in this situation.

And if you were born here from someone who wasn't a US Citizen than that is wrong.  People come to this country illegally all the time just to have their children and get all the benefits our hard working parents paid for....then their children turn out like successful like you because of our tax dollars and you go taking our jobs.  Maybe that is why he was deported....

  7. vote for mccain he is sick

  8. send em all the emigrations forms to be filled out and submitted proper and legal....

that way he can be here without worry of getting busted

  9. Take your family and move to Mexico.

  10. Yes, what prompted his deportation?  Obviously you were born here if you are a US citizen.  Some part of the story doesn't make sense to me.   I am sure you are aware of immigration legal aid, aren't you?   I expect if someone worked and didn't get in trouble with the law here for twenty years or more, they might get amnesty.   Thus the moral dilemma of the illegal immigrant.  Unfortunately the corrupt nature of the Mexican economy doesn't help much.  Corruption is like an invisible tax that impoverishes all of society.

  11. Mexico is less corrupt than the Republican government leaded by  a junior!

    and you are a troll!

  12. form i-212 would be your best hope.

you must prove an  extreme hardship that your fathers deportation will/has caused as you being a us citizen.

or as already stated see if he fit under the amnesty of the 80's.

but i suggest you consult a lawyer even though you have had bad luck with them already.there is free legal aid out there, all you have to do is look.

  13. I am not trying to be rude or mean here, but that is something that should have been dealt with years ago. He should have tried to go through the proper channels of getting the proper papers & tryed to get his citizen papers & what ever ,while he was here BEFORE he got busted!

The best thing to do,since you are not interested in using the legal system, would be just to ask immigration what you need to do ,in order to get him back here legally. They would be the ones who would know, what you can or can not do for your father.

  14. I really like Leviticus 19:34 that you quoted there.

Too bad your father doesn't fall into the foreigner category so I could give c**p less, he falls into the criminal unlawful illegal invader category.

I guess you could always visit him, that' might help him.

  15. Go to the INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) closest to you. Look under US Government in the phone book or go to www.ins.gov

  16. The only thing I can think if is if he fits into the Grandfather clause for amnesty in the 1980s.

Don't get me wrong--I'm not for illegals being in the country.

But legally I would see about the anchor baby criteria and the general amnesty law.  I think those two are your best options.

  17. look, she is a citizen because she was born here ( how stupid ughhh) obviously they werent and he never did his citizenship.
