I have a place to live when I get there. I have my passport. I am concerned about looking for work. I do not have degree, but have many years in retail management and office management. But I really didn't want to find a job that was going to be so consuming of my hours. Thanks for any help given,

  1. One little PROBLEM

you cannot legally work in Australia if you come in on a tourist visa

and restricted hours on a student visa

you can't just turn up and live here, I'm sure it's the same for every other country too, unless you are a refugee

contact  the Australian Embassy  or Consulate in your area for what is required if you want to migrate here

  2. There are plenty of jobs around - just apply for them out of the newspaper when you get here - or look at the job websites
