I want to lose at least 20 pounds beefore the wedding to fit in my david's bridal dress i got on sale for a stain. How can I lose 20 pounds before my wedding in sepember?

  1. Try Weight Watchers online.... its simple and you really eliminate very little since you learn healthy substitutes.  You can go to the message board for support.  You can do this.... Good luck....

  3. Don't cut out all carbs. That's not a healthy way to drop the weight. Drink only water, exercise and eat lots of fruits and vegetables.

  6. Good God you weigh a lot!! I think maybe you should be losing a little more weight than 20 pounds! And if you are prepared to slate other people on here ( http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... ), about how much they are speding on their dress, how about you have a look at yourself?? Maybe you're just jealous because you couldnt fit into a dress that would cost less than $100!

    How about this "I'm almost embarrassed for you, lol! Your fiance must be really proud to see what you think of him and your ' big day'" right back atcha!!!

  7. first of all, if i was as big as you "claim" to be, the last thing I would do is stuff myself into a white or ivory wedding dress.  You know how big you will look?  Black wont even do you justice.  and to think 20 little pounds is going to change a whole heck of alot for someone your size?  do you walk or are you one of those that is so overweight you use a motorized thing to move about?   I dont believe what your asking is true.

  12. Yea right...they had a dress on sale that would fit a person who was 500 lbs...Yea and the moon is blue.  Come on....be honest. It it is true what you are saying, you have to lose more than 20 lbs before your wedding...You need to go to a spa for obese overweight people....You cannot be near food and you need to be in a controlled environment.  Good Luck

  13. well i found this diet, that my friend emailed to me, but i'm not sure it works, you can try it though....

    here the 7-day diet I used.

    I did it for 7 days then took 1 day off and did another 7 days.



    NO Salad dressing!

    Lemmon juice is OK -- I squeezed fresh lemon on my salad.

    Another option is to add avocado chunks to salad -- I love avocado!

    It takes a little bit of time to get all the stuff & wash/cut the fruit & vegetables, but it was worth it.

    I don't drink a lot of water, so it helped me to drink tea (with just a tiny bit of sugar--I don't like artificial sweeteners).

    Also, I drank ruby red grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, and orange juice -- even though they are unsweetened, they are not low cal, but I did loose weight.

    This 7-day eating plan can be used as often as you like. If used correctly, it will clean out impurities and give you a sense of well-being and help you lose at least 3 – 5 pounds. You can eat all of the soup below that you want. Be sure to drink lots of water and follow the plan for each day.



    SOUP:



      *   1 or 2 cans of stewed tomatoes   ( I used 1 can)

    *   3 plus large green onions

      *   1 large can of beef broth (no fat)

    *   1 pkg. Lipton Soup mix (chicken noodle)

      *   1 bunch of celery

      *   2 cans green beans  ( I used 1 can)

    *   2 lbs. Carrots    ( I used 1 lb)

    *   2 Green Peppers    ( I used 1 1st time and none 2nd time)

    Season with salt, pepper curry, parsley,  cilantro,  if desired, or bouillon, hot or Worcestershire sauce. Cut veggies in small to medium pieces. Cover with water. Boil fast for 10 minutes. Reduce to simmer and continue to cook until veggies are tender. This soup can be eaten anytime you are hungry during the week. Eat as much as you want, whenever you want. This soup will not add calories. The more you eat, the more you will lose. You may want to fill a thermos in the morning if you will be away during the day.

    DRINKS:

    *   Unsweetened juices

    *   Tea (also herbal)

      *   Coffee

    *   Cranberry juice

    *   Skim milk

    *   Water, water, water

    DAY ONE: Only FRUIT (NO bananas). Cantaloupes and watermelon are lower in calories than most other fruits. Eat only soup and fruit today.

    DAY TWO: All VEGETABLES. Eat until you are stuffed with fresh raw, cooked or canned veggies. Try to eat green leafy veggies and STAY AWAY FROM dry beans, peas or corn. Eat veggies along with the soup. At dinnertime tonight reward yourself with a big baked potato and butter. Don't eat any fruits today.

    DAY THREE: Eat all the soup, FRUIT AND VEGGIES you want

    (NO potatoes). If you have eaten as above for three days and not cheated, you should find that you have lost 5-7 pounds.

    DAY FOUR: Have BANANAS AND SKIM MILK. At least 3 bananas and drink as much milk as you can today, along with the soup. Mix the bananas and milk  (add vanilla & Ice) in a blender and have as a smoothie all day. Bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates, as is the milk but on this particular day, your body will need the potassium and carbs. Proteins and calcium to lessen the cravings for sweets.



    DAY FIVE: BEEF AND TOMATOES - you may have 10 to 20 ounces of beef and a can of tomatoes, or as many as 6 tomatoes on this day. Eat the soup at least once today.

    DAY SIX: Eat to your heart's content BEEF AND VEGGIES today. You can even have 2-3 steaks if you like with green leafy veggies but NO baked potato. Be sure to eat the soup at least once today.

    DAY SEVEN: Stuff yourself with BROWN RICE , UNSWEETENED FRUIT JUICE AND VEGGIES and eat the soup. Add cooked veggies to your rice if you wish.


  14. Try walking (and drink water instead of sodas etc..)  That alone will help you drop pounds.

  15. given you have about a month stop eating carbs and sugars!  Drink lots of water.  Walk at night and do pilates!

  17. I'm not going to answer this question, because I don't believe you are 500 pounds. If you are just cut back on carbs and your portion size and just drink water. The first 20 will be easy.
