I am a 52 YO miscreant and malcontent. Do I have a Flair for poetry? Maybe a Sharpie?

This is my take on an early 20th Century American form called the LITTLE WILLIE. The roots of the Con-verb run in this direction.

Poetry…little bits

of my soul

splashed,

I’m posting,

knowing

it will be smashed,

I hope that your heart

can show pity,

Please don’t spit

on my cute

little ditty.

  1. yea i would say that you have a knack for poetry and that you should get more pieces and try and send them to a publisher the worst that could happen is that you would get rejected but to try agian with a different one.

  2. Pity, I can't imagine that anyone would spurt ink (or anything else) on your little ditty.

  3. I tried the cheap marker from the Dollar Store, but the words don't come out right, stick with the Sharpie.

  4. I depend on 2 bics.

one to write with, the other to set it afire.

  5. Marvelous job I enjoyed it alot

A flair for writing is what you've got

so if writing you aspire to do

go ahead and good for you.   (an encouraging site for you would be helium.com)

  6. Self effacing -Soul erasing - Writing is such a pleasure, no?

The culture vultures.....What would they do without malcontent miscreants?!?!?!

TD - Why don't writers ever use pencils ???

  7. No pity for this ditty,

    it's gritty and witty,

    not to mention quite pretty.

No spit from me, T. D. This is solid, as always.
