I am a B-Tech student from India.I want to pursue my MS abroad.I heard that education&health in Scandinavian countries(Norway,Sweden and Finland) is totally free of cost.Is it correct?

  1. Education and health are free to Scandinavian citizens.

    Foreigners have to pay for the services as they have not paid the taxes or contributions to claim from the system. You should contact the Embassies of the countries you are interested in to get more information on studying in Scandinavia.

    The education system in Scandinavia is quite high.

  2. I am not from these countries either, but I know education (including university) is free in Finland. But like all things free, they are usually not of the best quality. A masters degree in Finland is the equivalent to a Bachelors in the US. A Bachelors in Finland takes 3 years to complete, compared to 4 in America.
