I am a Bachelor in Science in Agriculture student. What major in agriculture should I select?

because I really want to have a job after I graduate, especially in other countries. Please I am really confuse because I will be in my 3rd year in studying and I really need to select a major, that can help me to get a good job after I graduated.

  1. Better take up agronomy if you want to get employment after graduation.

  3. You must have found your true love by this point. But, look at the Country you want to work in and see what their top crops are. If you can't pick your direction, pick your destination. Better yet, just stay in the University and research. I'm sometimes sorry I didn't.

    This is a HOT area.  Biofuels.  Learn about corn and different by products of agricultural production from animals and plant sources.

    Research Brazil which is now using biofuels extensively to power motor vehicles.

  7. Well, your main options are Animal Science or Agronomy. It would depend on what your personal desires are. If you like working with animals go with Animal Science. If plants go with Agronomy. If you go to graduate work you would specialize in different areas of your major. The job opportunities are about the same.
