LA dodgers are playing at home when I am in LA. Would it be a good experience - I have never watched a baseball game, but am a sports fan generally and like good atmospheres. Is it worthwhile me going to a game? What would be good seats for a one-off experience? Thanks.

  1. Yes it would be worth your while. I love the atmosphere in the left field pavilion, that is one of the section where the wave start generally.

For the 150 you are willing to pay you can get the Field Box MVP which are between ;the dugout right behind the most expensive tickets

  2. It depends what you want, do you want to be closer to the action or would you mind being a little farther.

Look at the bottom where it says ticket prices.

Edit: This for today's game, the only reason I showed it to you is because it has the prices.

The Field Box is pretty good in my opinion.

Edit: You wish Ms. Stevie! =)

  3. stupid brit

well atlst u chose the dodgers

  4. Yes, going to Dodger Stadium is well worth your time! And its really not necessary to spend that much on tickets, almost every seat is a great seat. My personal favorites are the Infield Reserve (only $28 bucks), or Loge Box MVP ($70).

Parking is $15 (FYI) and don't forget to get a Dodger Dog!

  5. Baseball games are fun to attend for the atmosphere, the hot-dogs, and the beer.  But unless you are an avid Dodgers fan, (or you are just loaded!), I cannot think of any good reason to spend so much.  You could enjoy similar atmosphere (possibly better), hot-dogs, and lousy beer for much less money by attending one of the farm team games, plus you'd get better seats.

PS Baseball is just "Rounders", much more fun to play than to watch... why don't you try to catch an American Football game?

  6. It's too bad you won't be there the third weekend of September when the Giants will be visiting and kicking the Dodgers ***!

The Dodgers play San Diego and Arizona while you are there....you better hurry if you want tickets.  Field Box is great and if you get there in time for batting practice, you have a chance of snagging a souvenir.

  7. Will absolutely be worthwhile to go to a game. In order to have a good experience make sure that you become familiar with as many of the basic rules of the game as you can. Don't be afraid to ask the fans seated by you if you don't understand something.  Have a great time.

  8. I generally don't watch baseball on TV, or keep up with the teams much, but I do have a lot of fun at a live game. You have to enjoyment of the live event, with the vibe of the crowd. You have the sport, which is slow, but allows you to enjoy the whole experience. You have the ridiculously unhealthy food and drink. Chili-cheese dogs and beer for instance. It's the quintessential American past-time. Not to be done everyday, but definitely something to experience on your visit to the states. Go have fun! Forget the cost. Buy the best tickets you can get, but any seat is a good one. Besides, the ticket is nothing compared to $6 hot-dogs or $8 beer.
