I am a British Citzen, working for a UK company, but living in the US do I pay taxes to the US?

I have a green card I work for a British company and I live in the US I know I dont have to pay tax to the UK, but do I have to pay income tax here in the US? Please help

  1. Yes, all US citizens and RESIDENTS of the US need to file a US tax return.  Since you have a green card, you will be taxed as if you were a citizen, using Form 1040.  You might want to download a 2007 version for reference at http://www.irs.gov/ .
