The market is really bad and I need to find a job in my field. Does anyone have any recommendations.

Go online, and do a search for your specific line of expertise. I hope you find something.

I think a good line of work for you might be as an assessor.  The government always needs assessors as they will always need to take our money.  This is a good place to ride out the storm.  Keep in mind that assessment departments are highly bureaucratic.  I hope this helps you.
