I am a Dale Jr. fan, but what about David Ragan?

What do you think the chances are that David Ragan could actually make the Chase? Can this be the "young gun" that gives Jimmie or Kyle a run for the Cup? Has he been overlooked this year, even though he has been building consistency?

  1. david ragan is the only 1 in a ford i pull for


  2. he won't make it. The broadcasters constantly say 'ragan is right there.' well, he won't do that unless he wins a race. It'll be close but he even if he does make it there's no way in h**l he will give Kyle, Jimmie, Carl and Jr or even someone like Hamlin, Harvick or biffle a run for it.  

  3. I think he's been improving but I don't think he'll make the chase so the chase boys have nothing to worry about!

  4. He has been overlooked and I think he can make the chase this year. I'm a fan and look at what Clint Bowyer did last year just racing his way in. He is due for his win and he is perfectly content to be consistent and wait for his win to come to him. Don't overlook him and if he doesn't get in it won't be by much. He is in the race to win Nationwide in 5th place for the championship.

  5. He is only 89 points now. I think the Bowyer and Ragan will be battling to get in the top 12, Newman, Truex, and Vickers just seem like they are too many points back so if one of them makes it in, it will be a shocker.

    1. Ragan's chances are basically 50/50 providing he runs well. 2. If he did make it in the chase, I don't think that team has what it takes to make a charge, the have good runs but they are still lacking that first win. A team needs to know how to win a race before they can win a championship. 3. He has been overlooked a bit this year during his good runs. When a driver is always running just outside the top 10, they tend to be overlooked a little.  

  6. He has been getting stronger each week and gaining, but I really do not think he can unseat any of the top 13 right now..if he does WTG, wish him the best in this last few races to try!
