My qualification being B.E(Civil),M.Tech(Industrial engg & Mgmt) with 15 yrs of experience in construction,Supervision,project Management,M.I.S,Corporate Planning.To start with how can i indulge in consultancy job in professional and educational field?

I respect your Academic qualifications and the experience you have got. I feel you should around the age of 40. You have still got more than 20 years of active professional life. Hence your present intention to become independent is appropriate.

I feel, if you want to have your own Consultancy at W.B. you can do so. During your 15 years of experience, you must have gained lot of Friends in the Industry. Take their suggestions and help. Certainly you will get the sub contracts from the Department, where you have worked for 15 years.

If you are interested in taking a Professors job, the ideal place is Bangalore ( Karnataka ). With more than 100 Engineering Colleges, you should get a suitable and respectable job here. With thousands of Bengali's, both at the College level and in the Neighborhood, you feel at home. You are eligible to get the post of a Principal in any Polytechnic Institute here.
