  1. A judge, a minister or any other person authorized by the Government of the Philippines can perform the marriage.  Marriage applicants aged 18 to 21 must have written parental consent. Applicants aged 22 to 24 must have received parental advice. Philippine law prohibits the marriage of individuals under the age of 18.

Philippine law prescribes a ten-day waiting period from the filing of the application to the issuance of the marriage license. The license is valid for 120 days and may be used anywhere in the Philippines.

has your future husband already applied to get

the affidavit in lieu of a certificate of legal capacity to marry ? if not ,he needs to address the Belgium embassy to get one ,

he may be the one needing papers to get translated if not done already ?

if he plans to register his presence in the Phillipines to the Belgium embassy ?

please refer to this page for all the informations necessary :

Some documents must be registered at the NSO main office in Quezon City.

These are Civil Registry documents such as Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates,

Certificates of Non-Appearance in the National Indices of Marriages or Single Status Certificates.

These documents should also appear on NSO Security Paper before having them legalised by

  2. For purposes of marriage, just present the birth certificates and license to marry for both you.  You need not go the Belgian Embassy because you are just staying in the Philippines.

  3. If you are in the Philippines, nothing to do except if you want to become a Belgian citizen or migrate to live in Belgium. If your fiance is in the Philippines, you should start working on his becoming a permanent resident or becoming a Filipno at the Bureau of Immigration. If he is in Belgium yet, then he has to inquire at the Philippine Embassy in Belgium.

What you should do is to plan your wedding. Who hoo**

  4. your local office will tell you best bcoz it has just changed, and visa fees doubled, but, you already know that

  5. dunno but got any sisters? I'm looking for a phillipino girl

  6. wala akong alam tungkol jan, iha.. kami dito sa jeddah okey lang kami..
