I am a II year bio informatics student . i need the companies offering summer internship?

What is the procedure while applying for intership. where will i get good exposure in bio informatics is it IT companiesor hospital labs or pharma companies. I have secured 8.5 gpa.What other qualification is required. Applying through mail is sufficient or should i go in person? Clinical research will it be of use at this stage.

The process and procedure in applying for an internship is different for each program. So call or write to each offering entity and ask for an application. It's all spelled out on there.

IT bio-informatics seems to merge both the biology and computer technology so any large company offering jobs in this field would be a good source. Your university counselor should know which companies are offering internships this summer. Companies normally send that information out to all universities.

Your 8.5 GPA will see you through any offer.

Try the mail route first unless a time constraint dictates otherwise.
