  1. What we think does not matter.

You are allowed to have your own beliefs and its not for us to try to change your thinking.

  2. Who are you talking about? Pagans can be bought.

  3. As an Asatruar, I cannot say.  It depends on how you live your life, what beliefs you have, how you die, any number of factors.

You know what would be really funny?  If Gods and Goddesses come into existence simply by anyone believing in them.  So up the in the sky you have all these Gods just chilling around, drinking beer.

  4. Do you trust that Jesus saved you already?

  5. The Spirit in the Sky , its a song

  6. Our thoughts don't matter you , your happiness matters you .

  7. There is no dichotomy other than what man in his attempt to understand actually misunderstood. The same God that is behind Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and the other religions is the same one that is the inspiration behind the Pagan religion. You will go where your actions determine. Live a good, moral life and you will be rewarded accordingly. My only suggestion is you might want to take a good look at the Baha'i Faith. Paganism today is, just like Christianity, a blend of what God gave us and what man THOUGHT He gave us. The Baha'i Faith has the purest form of teachings for us as individuals and in addition has the formula that will bring world peace. Paganism in its purity is beautiful indeed, but maybe it is time for you to reach for the next step in your growth.

    Peace, my friend.

    =============

    Living the Life

When asked on one occasion: "What is a Bahá'í?" 'Abdu'l-Bahá replied: "To be a Bahá'í simply means to love all the world; to love humanity and try to serve it; to work for universal peace and universal brotherhood." On another occasion He defined a Bahá'í as "one endowed with all the perfections of man in activity." In one of His London talks He said that a man may be a Bahá'í even if He has never heard the name of Bahá'u'lláh. He added:  --

The man who lives the life according to the teachings of Bahá'u'lláh is already a Bahá'í. On the other hand, a man may call himself a Bahá'í for fifty years, and if he does not live the life he is not a Bahá'í. An ugly man may call himself handsome, but he deceives no one, and a black man may call himself white, yet he deceives no one, not even himself.

One who does not know God's Messengers, however, is like a plant growing in the shade. Although it knows not the sun, it is, nevertheless, absolutely dependent on it. The great Prophets are spirits suns, and Bahá'u'lláh is the sun of this "day" in which we live. The suns of former days have warmed and vivified the world, and had those suns not shone, the earth would now be cold and dead, but it is the sunshine of today that alone can ripen the fruits which the suns of former days have kissed into life.

    Devotion to God

In order to attain to the Bahá'í life in all its fullness, conscious and direct relations with Bahá'u'lláh are as necessary as is sunshine for the unfolding of the lily or the rose. The Bahá'í worships not the human personality of Bahá'u'lláh, but the Glory of God manifest through that personality. He reverences Christ and Muhammad and all God's former Messengers to mankind, but he recognizes Bahá'u'lláh as the bearer of God's Message for the new age in which we live, as the Great World teacher Who has come to carry on and consummate the work of His predecessors.

  8. Why do I get the feeling this question was just an excuse to use the word dichotomy?

I think you will go to a dark place and sort of float there...  as just an awareness, without sensation as we know it as flesh and blood.

You will remain there, in that suspended state for an unknown amount of time.  Less than eternity, most likely, but longer than 5 hours.

What happens next, I cannot say.  I have no experience in the afterlife beyond the 5 1/2 hours it took for doctors to repair a birth defect in my heart.

It is, however, longer than anybody I have ever known.

Anybody who tells me what they think happens after death...  that doesn't include that description...  is automatically a liar.  No matter what religious books say...  no matter what millions and millions of people believe...  I've actually been there.  None of the people telling me that something else happens have been.  Who's gonna be right?

  9. If you see no dichotomy with Jesus,

and you admit to being a Pagan,

then logically you'll wind up in h**l.

  10. You're pagan, so you're a country dweller who sees no problem with the teachings of Jesus, and you want our opinion as to where you'll go when you die.

I'm not your judge- your teacher is.
