  1. first find the radio station you want to work at.. and there must be a contact or something, then apply for a job. :)

You must be able to speak well and stuff. but i think you can do it.

    Good luck.

  2. Please don't take this the wrong way, but being a "Party DJ" does not automatically make you qualified to be on the air.

Most radio air talents have formal training at college radio stations while they are earning their college degrees.

Doing radio well is a lot harder than most people think.  There are many aspects of an "average day" for an air-talent that you never see or hear.

If you really have the desire to work in radio, try starting at a smaller hometown radio station, doing any work that they have available.  Once you "get your foot in the door" you only have room to go up the ladder of success in broadcasting.

I wish you well in chasing your dream to work in radio.  Don't forget, a lot of doors will slam you in the face as you work to being on the air.... You need to have the "drive and determination" to keep moving on even when things look hopeless... You never know, the next door that you open can be one that leads you to an exciting job in radio.

    Good luck,

    jam
