  1. It´s not so easy, let me tell you that I´m a Pre-school teacher, here in Mexico and you need a sepecial certificate that the SEP gives to you, it doesn´t matter that you want to be a English teacher, go to www.sep.gob.mx and search for "licenciatura en educación preescolar", and then you know what is more convenient for you

  2. You may regret if you do it. You may have a chance if You seek for a job in the main cities (Mexico City, Guadalajara or Monterrey) there are some bilingual colleges and english institutes and they do not pay so bad. remember life there is a little rough if You have no one there (relative, friend etc.)

  3. I assume you already know you will make much less money in Mexico.  If you teach in a private school, you will make a bit more than in a public school.  If you have a specific city in mind where you will be living, , and esp. if you have family there to help you, you need to check on the possibilities in tht city.  It is nearly impossible to get a job without going there in person.  You also will need to have a degree in teaching .  And you will need to have your original diploma, unopened copies of all transcripts, proof of accredidation of your university...I know people teaching English here, and the schools want all this documentation.  I believe you really need to make a trip here in person to check out openings and their requirements.
