As I mentioned above; I am a Realtor in Dallas, TX . Recently I thought about venturing out in the world of foreclosures to build my business. How do I go about getting foreclosed homes listed with me?

With all the recent foreclosures to hit next month in September, I am wondering what do I do, what process; if there is one, to go about getting banks to list foreclosed homes with you?

Thanks for taking the time ro read my question.

  1. It isn't easy to break into the world of foreclosure listings.  You can start by doing BPO's for lenders who desire same in advance of a foreclosure.  Try to develop contacts at these places as well.  Most lenders already have a network of trusted agents with whom they work and with whom they list their foreclosures.

  2. see this, it's free

  3. i would think that you should contact the banks and see if they have any in the area.  i'm in the process of buying a foreclosure right now and the banks we've dealt with so far have been wells fargo, countrywide, citibank and suntrust.

you should call some of them and see what they have on their books that are about to go to foreclosure, you might be able to get them while they are about to go to short sale

  4. Shouldn't your broker be able to help you with this?  Also, aren't foreclosures in the MLS?

  5. You can sign up for it here:

They have 7 days free trial, so you have plenty of time to get situated.

    Good luck.
