Singapore, when I walk on the streets, no matter how good I dress up or make up my outlooks, the Singaporean Chinese girls never care to take a glimpse on me. Why is it so?

  1. I think its because of the culture? And most nowadays Singaporean don't stare at each other.

  2. Well, it is because you are still a foreigner although you share the same ethnic group as them. You will be a bit different in the way you dress, the way you carry yourself & the aura you project. People always pick up something that is not the norm thus being the exception, you will get stares.

Now back in Singapore, you're just one of them & you blend in.

Let me ask you this, are you able to spot a Chinese national in a sea of Singaporean Chinese? I bet 9 out of 10 times you can. Why? Well, the way he/she dresses, talks, carries oneself & etc...

    Just my theory.

  3. Do you know that the indian people in India loves to stare? Is kind of their culture stuff.

  4. maybe in India, people go for the look while in SIngapore, people go for the personality.
