  1. I believe she gets her green card right away. Im not sure what the waiting period is until she can apply for a passport and full citizenship though.

  2. You heard right about the fast track for those in the military, but your wife isn't the one in the military.

  3. 3 years.  Just like any foreigner who marries a US citizen.

As a member of the military, if you get orders overseas, and she's got her 3 years as a permanent resident, she'll be able to get naturalized very quickly and avoid the long wait.

  4. It's gonna take the time for people who are not married to U.S Soldiers.

The only thing is that you are gonna have some benefits being your spouse' sponsor, I am talking about poverty line requirements and some other things, you should take a look at the USCIS' website

    www.uscis.gov

    Hope it is helpfull,

Good Luck and Thank you and all the soldiers for what you guys are doing in Iraq.   :))

  5. I was under the impression that if you stay married to an American citizen for two years, you can become a full citizen.  Until then, you get some sort of provisional citizenship, which isn't full, but allows you to live in the US as a spouse.
