I am trained as an electrician. I understand I can try for government jobs, but I am looking at all possibilities. I will have my bachelors degree in Intelligence in Middle Eastern Studies completed in July. I was stationed in London from February 2005-July 2007 and fell in love with the city. If anyone has advice on any companies that will employ an American or what programs of study I should pursue, I would greatly appreciate it. I understand health and IT jobs are good candidates for a work visa, I am just looking for further information, as I get out of the Navy on April 22nd.

  2. I would imagine with your education and military experience getting a job in London shouldn't be much of an issue.  I would think the US government and British governments may have some sort of joint intelligence opperation that you could get involved with.  If you don't want to go that route, I would look for American corporations with offices in or around London.  It's such a huge and exciting city I'm sure with your background you shouldn't have much trouble at all.

If you do get to move and live there just never take for granted getting to see the Big Ben tower everyday.  I miss that.
