I was born in Canada, but obtained my U.S. citizenship through my U.S. mother. My daughter was born in Canada, but her father is a U.S. citizen as well and he has lived here his entire life. We are not and have never been legally married.

She is 20 months old and I would like to know how to get her proper U.S paperwork and where I can access the information. I cannot get anywhere with anyone and am getting contradicting information. Hopefully someone can help!
