I am a UK citizen living abroad. I want to apply for a UK credit card. Is there a company tht will let me?

I want to apply for the card and want it sent to me abroad, are there credit card companies that will do that?

  1. If you've got an open account in any UK bank I guess there won't be any problem.


  2. This is not possible without a UK address. A workaround would be to get a very close family member resident in the UK to apply for a credit card (which they will not use) and get you added as the additional card holder. You would obviously need to be very close relatives and completely trust each other.

  3. You need to live at a UK address for the last 3 years before they will give any sort of credit, so no address no card I'm afraid!! The reason is that they use your current UK address to do a credit check.
