  1. Your parents now have to file through Consulate Process, I-485 Register to Permanent Resident or Adjustment of Status. with G-325A, I-131 Advanced Parole, I-765 Employment Authorization Document, I-693 Medical Exam from USCIS doctors in India, and I-864 Affidavit from you that proves that you are financially responsible for you parents. Diabetes are not an issuge for the medical.

  2. Oh great..There goes 3 more IT jobs...

  3. Now that they have been approved, they have to wait for a priority number.  They will be contacted by the US Consulate when it is time for their interview.  They will also need to pass physical exams closer to the time when their priority number comes up.  Diabetes and any other debilitating diseases will disqualify them under "public charge" regulations.  Furthermore, there are so many people from India already waiting for immigration that it takes about 10 years for them to actually get their visas.  During the processing period, they may not get tourist visas or otherwise attempt to enter the US.

If you had done your homework first, you would not have bothered spending the money on applications for people who will not ultimately qualify for immigration.  In the end, you are likely to be disappointed.  Meanwhile, you have to go to visit them as they cannot visit you as long as there is a pending application.

  4. US embassy in Delhi will contact them.  But I think that the diabetes will prevent her from getting a visa.  You need to talk to a lawyer re this.
