  1. I think you would have to go over there to do that.  I have a bank account there, and live in UK.  I opened it when I was visiting there, and my SS pensions goes into it.  I can manage it online, and spend it when I go to visit.


  2. WaMu will do it online.

    Also:

    FSNB

    USAA Bank

    But Wamu is the friendliest.

  3. You can open on line, they'll mail you a signature card, but you'll need a address in US.

  4. A lot of banks let you open an account online. I imagine you could just do that.

  5. Nope ,  since  9 / 11 ,   you  gotta  show  up  in  person  with  verifiable  ID .

    No   more  "casually"  opened   accounts .

    Moral  of  the  story ,  NEVER  close  all  your  accounts  when  moving ,

    Leave  a  couple  open .
