What steps do I take to acheive this dream? Is it possible? I'm willing to do whatever it takes. I am 16, and plan on attending a London or UK college when I'm 18.

  1. If you are in 11th grade you need to start thinking about your applications right now.

    1) You don't want to attend a UK "college". College in the UK is for 16-18 year olds. You want a university.

    2) Go to the website of the university you want to attend and see what their grade requirements are for foreign students. If you don't know where you want to go, start off with the UCAS site - you'll have to go through them eventually anyway.

    3) Be aware that you will need to know exactly what you want to study at the point that you apply. It's not like the US where you pick your major after you've started. You have to apply right away for History or Chemistry or whatever.

    4) It will be very expensive. The exchange rate right now is dreadful if you're going from the US to the UK. Every pound will cost you 2 dollars.

    Good luck!
