I am a Vicodin addict.. ?

I am a Vicodin addict.. I drink on it sometimes also, I'm tryingt o stop! especially after this story!! how do i know if im allergic to vicodin, will i have an increased amount of energy? I heard that it's possible from friends. My heart stopped it seems one night and automatically kicked up (like one of those machines when the doctors say clear) this feeling was a shock! and it woke me up.. so i thought i was sleeping however, i wasn't dreaming... i just remember black, peaceful, numb, and it felt time was sooo slow!?? Im really confused. I have MVP in my heart also... so I don't know what's going on and i need some expert advice. I have a problem with vicodin and have had one for a verrry long time. I have been taking excedrin for about 6 years now almost everyday due to my horrible headaches.. I just need someone to help me who knows more about this then a friend does but, im afraid of the doctors.

Sammi,ask around where you live about doctors and go to the one that seems best . Don't be afraid it will be ok just tell the doc. whats going on!I have some great friends that are doctors.They are here to help us.You need to have these headaches checked out anyway (6 years) thats a long time to have headaches.

You need to stop taking drugs.

Twice as many people die in the US now through accidental overdoses from prescribed drugs as from "street" drugs.  That means big pharmacy is killing more people than it is helping (as usual).

Don't up just another sad statistic like Heath Ledger.  Please stop, and/or get help.

most doctors would probably be cool with helping you if youre just upfront with them and tell them you think youre taking too much and would like to use less and want to try to wean yourself off. usually youll get a rash/hives if youre allergic to it. as for the heart thing, you may want to tell your cardiologist or doctor about it but it might have just been a harmless ectopic beat or something

you need to go talk to a doctor.

go talk to the one who doesn't perscribe you you vicodin, if you're really that worried about it.
