Goverment i want to go to jamaica and marry him i want him to live with me and start our lives as one ,it is very hard life and sad i need to look at him daily and spend my life with him what can i do i really need help and we dont have a lot of money

  i really hope that you didn't file this paper 3 years ago.. because as long as you filed the correct paperwork, you should've been taken care of already..  take the receipt number (found in the top left corner) from the receipt, and check your status online.. you say it was approved, however, with no follow-up, you need to find out what happened A.S.A.P.. because if you filed this paperwork correctly, you should have had everything done in about one year..

    however, the fact that he'syour fiance' and not your husband might be the deciding factor.. get that checked out!!

call the uscis immediately since it was still 3years ago.i came to america 3 years ago with a k1 visa. after my fiance received the approval notice the embassy from where i came from sent me checklist and some other informations and schedule for a personal interview at the embassy through mail.

if you filed a K1 visa (fiance visa) for him and it was approved he should have recieved it in jamaca. if not you need to call someone. the way the K1 works is he gets the visa and comes to the states. he then has 90 days to marry you and apply for his green card. once the visa is approved it is only good for 2 years, so you need to gather all the paperwork you have and either call or go to an immigration office and find out what is going on
