  1. Your question seems incomplete.

    Do you mean diagnostic tools?  On the whole, if a child with special needs had not already been idenitied, then a teacher would suspect and pass this to the SEN co-ordinator who would know more about appropriate testing.

    I diagnose resources more often (eg using ways to identify whether the language I have used for my worksheets or resources are suitable for the students on the receiving end.  I have used techniques to establish learning preferences (audio, visual, kinaesthtic) and we encourage students to evaluate their progress and this incorporates 360 degree evaluation to some extent.  I receive copies of IEPs and get invited to annual reviews, so there is plenty of constructive communication.  

    I have used Inspiration mind mapping effectively with lots of children of different ages, abilities and SEN,
