  1. quality is fine but u need to photoshop the guy in the left corner who looks unhappy

  2. They are realllllllly good!

    (Coming from a nonprofessional, lol)

  3. Pretty nice!* i can't take pictures worth a hoot*

  4. These look pretty good!  I'm not the best when it comes to photography, so I won't try to tell you what to do.  The only thing I noticed that should be worked on is keeping your pictures level.  There should be a horizontal line that can be followed in all of your pictures so they don't look crooked.  This line of balance is missing in your first two pictures, though.

  5. This is an excellent start, it appears you are really enjoying the experience. Aside from learning about composition (rule of thirds) I have one suggestion. When you photograph people's faces do not use your lens in the wide angle mode, it distorts faces, Step back and zoom in, it will have a much nicer effect.

    Keep shooting!

  6. you may be a beginner, but have the eye. keep on shooting.

    THE F. STOPS HERE!

    lol

  7. I love them :)

  8. i think your photography is really cool.

its not all played out, and it's uniquely different.

which is something i like a lot(:

  9. I'm impressed, I don't know much about photography, but I think it's pretty good.

  10. I thought they were really great.

  11. definitely can go on hallmark front cover................

  12. wow! beautiful and very simple. definitely better than me! hehehe

great work, keep it up! i especially like the picture of the clouds and the  little girl :D just great!

  13. those are pretty good shots but you're g*y so i dont like you.

  14. I studied photography in college.

Are any of these photoshopped for color correction?  Because the color looks exellent, the only thing that I would say is that the bw image of the man in the hat…if you’re going to leave part of the color in, make sure that there is a reason.  I would rather see all of him in color rather than just his hands.

Also, with pictures like the one with the sky, you might want to use the rule of thirds, which means that you should divide a picture into thirds, and place the focal point of the picture on one of those lines rather than directly in the middle.

My favorite pic is the first one cuz the light quality/color is so good.  my least favorite is the last one because its just a little too busy-I’m not sure what I’m supposed to look at first.

All in all, great job, though.

  15. Hey! I am a professional photographer and have been in the business for the past 7 years. I can tell you you have a good eye for spontaneous shots. I like your portraits because they are quite natural but as far as the editing maybe you could take a look to some editing programs such as photoshop and if you are just beginning picasa 2 is also a good one, so you can further edit crop and improve the quality of the image. Not always lighting is the best so some pics need some editing. As far as your shots of settings ( buildings, malls, so on) some of them have really nice angles. I find some of them to be a little too sharp or over-saturated, try to keep a balance and always try to keep the natural lighting of the image unless you want to explore a different approach.

Check out this type of photography "lomography" I think it would be a  pretty good and fun way to get inspiration.

All the best and keep up the good work!

  16. usually very nice contrast and framing! do you use a filter? i like the color contrasts in a lot of them.

  17. ok. try to capture something w/ more depth.

  18. I commented on a few of them that I thought were really good. But there's always room for improvement. I think that the main thing you need is creativity, because some of the photos are slightly mediocre because of the subject, not because of the quality. Keep it up though, you have great potential!

  19. they're very nice except for one thing: all of your subjects are in the center of the frame. try using the rule of thirds and place your subjects off center or coming in and out of the frame to make them more interesting. the only time you place them in the center is because artistically speaking you are trying something by doing that.

  20. thats an awesome pictur. i think you are

  21. O wow your really good!!!

  22. You have A LOT of great pictures. the color is amazing and they are just great subjects. I think a few are too centered, but other than that I think you should keep doing what you are doing. Just remember not to center to much. My photography teacher got on me so bad for it so now it bothers me to see centered pictures.

  23. awesome your great.Keep up the good work.

  24. those are grate u are a good photographer  lol awsome !!!

  25. Wow you have some pretty sweet pictures.

  26. That's not half bad.

  27. Very nice selection of subjects.  I especially liked your shots of the sunset and the night clouds.

I use a Nikon D-50 and I have difficulty with night clouds.  Sometimes on auto I cannot get the shutter to snap.

    You really in So. Cal?

Keep up the good work; it keeps getting better if you are alert.

  28. Focus more on framing

  29. I LOVE the clouds :D

  30. First let me say they're great photos. Of course I'm no expert. Whether you stick with a particular theme or capture any moment or object that moves you or appeals to you at a particular moment, enjoy the experience and the photo you can treasure afterward.

You should crop out whatever you don't want in your photos. Like in the first one you can cut out the people in the background if you don't want them. Not sure if you wanted Mom (I guess) and baby or just the baby, but you did cut off part of the lady's head.

If you want to be serious about photography, invest in a camera with good zoom. That way you don't have to be close to get good photos. Case in point, the guy doing the handstand (as part of a dance? breakdancing?).

The "Clouds" photo (third one, first page) made me go WOOOOW!.

I have a special place in my heart for nature and critters, especially of the furry, four-footed variety ;o). The nature ones are great. Then again I already said I have a bias about them :o). I really like the "Please, no pictures" shot you took. Great! Very cute. Also on page three I really like the Speed of Light one. Cooool!

"Flowers" on page 4 (looks like a tree to me) is breath-taking! If you're interested I have an idea for a name for the photo with the farmer. "Irrigation" or "A Day in the Field."

"Retro" on page 5 is cool. The way the light is hitting all that stuff it looks shiny and blingy.

Great photos. Keep up the great work! :o)

  31. Wow your pictures are great!  You are soo lucky to get to use a rebel.  They are the best
