  1. Try your best to stay awake in class.  I wouldn't use energy drinks either.  Try to get more sleep.  If you start to do worse in school...it might be a good idea to quit baseball just for your freshman year.  You still have 3 more years, and school work should come first and so should sleep!  in order to do well in school and baseball you have to have alot of rest.  Good luck.

  2. staying late almost every night for your homework is not good since it will take your concentration off in school because you feel sleepy. its not worth it. better to find time to sleep and to do your homework and you will save money from buying anything to keep you awake and you will have the vitality to do your sports. sleeping late will also make you susceptible to sicknesses.

  3. energy drinks are for us old people who have no stamina..take a multi vitamin, eat 3 balanced meals a day stay away from sugar and caffeine(found in energy drinks) get at least 8-9 hours of sleep...you are still growing and need rest...if you do not feel any better after this then have your parents take you to your family doctor for a thorough exam but it sounds like you are stressing your body from not enough rest and too much activity

May be you need to drop the basketball...the practice schedule is ridiculous vs the amount of time playing..

  4. Get more sleep.  Eat a balanced diet.  Make sure you drink enough water daily.  If you are still tired, get a complete checkup at the doctors.

DO NOT rely on energy drinks to keep you awake.

  5.   Supplements are never the answer.  At your age good habits (i.e. good nutrition and sleep) are the key.  Studies have shown that people in your age bracket REQUIRE more sleep than at any other time in your life.  Your body is going through huge amounts of growth, which means you have to give it down time.

I know that there is alot of pressure today to "DO IT ALL", but you need to start now to place limits on what your body can and can't do.

Sleep is more important now to your body than any other time in your life.  Studies have shown that lack of proper rest in your age group is one of the leading causes lowered metabolism.

Breakfast is and always will be most important meal.  It doesn't have to be "Breakfast" food.  Cold pizza and other nontraditional kinds of high protein foods can work for your age group.  Ideally, high protein, low fat, choices are best.  But anything (toast and peanut butter), is better than nothing
