$2-3000 is what I want to spend...I want a powerful bike. I am 6-3"...and I want a nike that I can ride for about 2-5 years...an also...how many miles is a lot for a motorcycle?

given your height... I would suggest an SV650... and take a motorcycle safety class FIRST.....

However, saying that my SV was a highly tuned Race bike, you'd need a bit more than just a safety class.

Also being 6'3" doesn't mean he's necessarily thin - if he's

a broad build (or larger) I personally would not suggest an SV650 maybe SV1000 or even the Aprilia SL750 Shiver, SMV 750 Dorsoduro or the RSV 1000 R would suit a larger build.
