  1. i think "special education" is for abnormal children.

  2. well 1 year ago i wanted to become an air force pilot but as time went on i changed my mind. but i well tell you what you need to become a pilot:

you need to get 5 GCSE's at grad A*-C including Math and English. you need to have a good eye site and a quick thinker to respond quickly if something goes wrong not that it will. you also need to get a study Science and Math in college and get a Science degree in university. then when you get a degree you will start flying in flying school which will take you about 2 years to get your pilot license and then you will be a code pilot. if you want to fly the aircraft yourself you have to have 5 years experience. good luck

  3. A lot of pilots end up studying physics and engineering. For you, I'd concentrate on physics, math, and maybe other sciences.

  4. Check this web site out for more information on flying, and how to become a pilot.

One option of many; you can see if there is a chapter of the Civil Air Patrol in your area, and join them, talk to your parents about it, and see what they think.

Our son is interested in studying for his pilots license at age 13 as well.

They provide a lot of his training in map skills, aerospace, leadership, and give flying lessons (limited) to their cadets.

Currently he is studying a module on aircraft systems, and airports.

You do not have to join the military to be part of the Civil Air Patrol, but you will find many good young men, and women to learn with, and from.

Good Luck, and go for it.

  5. Pilots definately need to know physics because things such as laws of motion and what not. Try taking high level math classes such as Trig pre calc and Calculus. And science - focus on physics.

  6. You will need to know Science and everything.

  7. You need to learn the basic principles of flight: lift, drag, thrust, and gravity..... You'll need to know what runway lights found at the end of the runway in a row mean in accordance to color: four red your dead (way to low) / four white you'll fly all night (way to high) / three white one red(to high) /three red and one white(to low) / two red and two white your just right for landing that go around.

You definitely need to know how to read aeronautical maps.... know all of the stuff found on the dash of the aircraft.... learn about Bernoulli's principle.....

Here's a couple of websites you might want to check out for further help:

    http://www.aopa.com

    http://www.eaa.com

On eea you can become a member now and receive some great advice from expert pilots, and aopa has some awesome stuff to..... Best of Luck and hope you become a pilot.
