  1. Paying off the credit cards will end the interest you are being charged for them.

  2. Just pay the minimum on the credit cards each month and keep paying tuition until you graduate. then once you graduate, worry about paying off the credit cards.

  3. I would take out a student loan to pay for your education and use the money you are saving to pay off the credit cards. The student loan you won't have to pay on until 6 months after you stop going to school. By that time you'll hopefully have a job.

  4. You really don't want to choke yourself with credit. Possibly one credit card for dire emergencies, otherwise try to live within your means, even if it means living with not very much.

  5. Get ride of the credit dept first, college you can always get loans for but you can't get loans with bad credit.

Pay them off and cut them up- don't get into dept before you start working or you'll never get out.

  6. Try talking with the bank and see if they can allow you to make smaller monthly payments. It will not be burdensome and your credit rating also will not be affected (much)

Your job prospects will not be affected much as long as you don't DEFAULT on your payments. So make your minimum monthly payments without fail. You can always better your credit score after you start earning.

Cheer up! And all the best with your college.
