You could try going to your library and see if they have people who read to children or even adults.  See if you can't get a copy of the book they are reading and silently read along so you can hear how the words are said or just sit and listen to them read.  You will pick up how to pronounce words correctly (assuming they speak clearly).

Maybe take English classes or talk to a teacher to help you improve English?  I personally learned English from my parents but it will take a lot of time, practice and patience.  English is a hard language to learn.  So many words, so many sounds, so many spellings.  It will take time.  But my advice to you is go see an English teacher.  They are not only there to teach the art of English.  They will help you speak more fluently.  You could also go to a children's library and there will be a person that will read along while the children is listening and get a copy so you can pick it up from there.  Good luck.

GOOD FOR YOU!!  Congrats on your quest for learning.  I would not suggest that you rely on anyone here to help you consistantly.  I would suggest a language program online like Rosetta Stone.

Having a foreigner friend won't help that much since you will be able to talk to him/her occasionally. The best way for you to learn is to read more books in english. Always have a dictionary nearby so that it will be easier for you to understand whenever you encounter a difficult word. Try answering here as well, that's how i practice
