  1. Spouse visas are always difficult but especially so when your husband is only on a bridhing visa himself. I have many African friends and we have found that the bridging visa period is very high risk. If you ask too many questions and "favours" at that point you may find that your outcomes are not as good as you had hoped.

    A better plan may be to get you a 457 visa of your own. Do you have any trade or professional skills which may be in short supply here eg: nursing/medicine, trade qualifications, welding certificates, teaching etc....

    These categories all require massive numbers of foreign workers to fill positions which Australian employers cannot get takers for.

    Please get yourself a good immigration lawyer here before you register with any employment agency, as many of those have a reputation for treating and paying workers badly. There are good ones but you will need detailed advice if you are to avoid the cowboys.
