  1. info taken from the US Dept. Immigration

  2. All you need is your California ID.

    Nothing else.

  3. You will only need your CA drivers license only, in the event that you will only travel to Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands. However, if you will travel to other Caribbean islands under foreing governments, then you will need your Passport to be able to get back into US territory. I have lived on the "colony" for the past 22 years and have traveled a lot . By the way Puertorricans or Borinquenos, are US citizens.

  4. You will need your passport.

  5. No Passport needed for Puerto Rico at all. Nor do you need a birth certificate like prior mentioned. It's exactly like traveling to a neighboring state. I think that, the one difference is essentially that you can bring certain fruits into the country, but you can't travel back with them. Such as apples or plums. (Something about a bug.) So no worries. And this is coming from a girl who lives between Santa Clarita, California and Caguas, Puerto Rico.

  6. Puerto Rico is a territory of the USA, no passport is required since you are a citizen. However, you would need a valid photo ID and your original birth certificate. You might as well just bring the passport.

We travel with our passport when we travel the 50 states. It's so much easier.

    Have a great trip)

  7. No, no...no passport needed. Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory.  You do not need a passport to travel ANY part of the U.S. See site below and read last line under "Land and Sea  Travel"...the sentence that starts  with the word,"NOTE."
