I am a co-owner of a yahoo group... can my other owner delete the group without my permission?

3 of us own the group not moderate... we all are actual owners...

  1. Yahoo does not recognize one owner from the other when there is more than one. that is also the same with moderators. anyone with the owner status has all the priviledges as any owner. yes, they can delete the group, or they CAN demote another owner to moderator or member- and then remove their membership from the group.


  2. The original owner, the founder has the ultimate authority.  If you are the founder,  and having problems with someone you appointed you should remove that individual.

  3. Yes. Owners have complete control over all features and settings of the group and can delete the group. This is true no matter how many owners your group has.  Once the original owner give another member Owner status, they both have the very same privileges and one owner cannot remove or ban another owner.
