I am a dance artist looking for a day job (not teaching pilates or yoga/waiting tables). Any suggestions?

I've been able to get consistent dance opportunities but they do not pay a lot. The current day job is in research. I hate it. I feel drained everyday. I need something else that pays decently and is flexible.

be a dance teacher for little kids. if they are 3 or 4ish then you will be payed a decent amount of money and are always in the day. these classes are usually only once a week since the lessons are for fun and they aren't serious about dancing yet. :]

an associate dance instructor at a university or community college get good pay and they do a variety of things.
